We are Flight Dispatchers, Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, and operational specialists f om large airlines, small aircraft operators, Civil Aviation Authorities, ICAO, NBAA, and a multitude of other aviation organizations. We work together to share critical new information about airspace risk, procedures, and just help each other out. We’re using that experience and expertise to set up Relief Air Wing to do the same thing in disaster relief: get the information that matters, and share it with the aircraft operators and relief agencies that need it.

Operation Airdrop

Ops Group Relief Air Wing

UN Humanitarian Air Service

Operation Airdrop is a Texas based 501(c)3 non-profit that organizes general aviation assets in the aftermath of a natural disaster. Founded in the wake of Hurricane Harvey in 2017, we specialize in post hurricane flooding recovery. When roadways remain flooded or washed out and communities cannot be resupplied with life-giving essentials by ground vehicles, we arrange for them to be flown in. In past missions, we have utilized wide range of aircraft from an Aeronca Champ to a CRJ-700 regional jet, delivering needed supplies - hot meals, diapers, and cleaning supplies to those who sheltered in place.

UN Humanitarian Air Service

UNHAS responds to the need for access to the world's most remote and challenging locations, often under precarious security conditions, where no safe surface transport or viable commercial aviation options are available. Sometimes natural disasters – such as the recent Caribbean hurricanes – leave air transport as the only mean of access; at other times, it is conflict that puts entire areas beyond the reach of land transport or commercial flights. Created precisely for such scenarios, UNHAS provides access for humanitarian workers and cargo, allowing life-saving projects to be implemented and monitored.
